In areas where sophisticated
surveillance or recording equipment is mounted on a movable head
or platform, for reasons of security, sighting or even in the in
the TV and film industry, a slipring system is frequently required
to transfer electrical and electro-optic signals across rotary azimuth
and elevation interfaces. This allows the transference of video-frequency signals, camera power supply & control signals during limited or continuous 360° rotation.
